🖥️ CPHIMS Exam Prep
Free, independent CPHIMS exam-preparation in healthcare information & management systems, with a signed certificate. Learn the modules, pass the exam.
Last updated: June 2026
An independent, free exam-preparation course mapped to the publicly published HIMSS CPHIMS content areas — the healthcare environment and technology environment (general knowledge), the systems life cycle (analysis, design, selection/implementation/support/maintenance, testing and evaluation, and privacy & security), and administration (leadership and management). It uses visual lessons, worked examples, original self-check questions and a 45-question final exam to build exam-ready understanding of health IT fundamentals, US healthcare regulation (HIPAA, HITECH, Meaningful Use / Promoting Interoperability), EHR/EMR systems, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, ICD/SNOMED), data governance and analytics, privacy and security, project and change management, IT infrastructure and cloud, implementation and testing, support and maintenance, and IT leadership and strategy. It is awareness/prep only — not the official HIMSS review course or the licensing exam — and claims no HIMSS affiliation or endorsement. The course is organized into 22 modules, ending with a final exam (pass mark 80%). It is independent, free exam-preparation training — not an official or accredited review course.
