An independent, free exam-preparation course that walks through the publicly published 2020 Scrum Guide — the framework on which the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment is based. It covers Scrum's foundations in empirical process control (transparency, inspection, adaptation), the five Scrum Values, the single Scrum Team and its three accountabilities (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Developers), the five Scrum events (the Sprint, Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, the Sprint Review and the Sprint Retrospective), the three artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment) and their commitments (Product Goal, Sprint Goal, Definition of Done). It uses visual lessons, worked examples, original self-check questions and a 45-question final exam to build exam-ready understanding of self-management, cross-functionality, servant leadership, coaching, backlog refinement, common misconceptions and exam strategy. It is awareness/prep only — not an official Scrum.org course or the PSM I assessment itself — and claims no Scrum.org affiliation or endorsement. It maps to Scrum.org PSM (the Scrum Guide 2020). The course is organized into 22 modules, ending with a final exam (pass mark 80%). It is independent, free exam-preparation training — not an official or accredited review course.

  • Describe the single Scrum Team and its three accountabilities, and why Scrum drops the word "roles".
  • Differentiate the Scrum Master, Product Owner and Developers accountabilities without overlap or hierarchy.
  • Run the five Scrum events with correct purpose, timebox and outcomes, all contained within the Sprint.
  • Manage the three artifacts and attach the right commitment to each (Product Goal, Sprint Goal, Definition of Done).
  • Facilitate Product Backlog refinement, self-management and cross-functionality on the team.
  • Recognise and correct the most common Scrum misconceptions and anti-patterns tested on PSM I.
  • Pass a 45-question exam (80% to earn your certificate).
