🪜 Ladder Safety

Free ladder safety training with a completion certificate.

Last updated: July 2026

Falls from ladders are one of the leading causes of serious workplace injury, yet nearly all of them are preventable. This free Ladder Safety course teaches you how to choose, inspect, set up and climb ladders safely — covering ladder types and duty ratings, pre-use inspection, the 4-to-1 angle rule, three points of contact, the differences between stepladders, extension and fixed ladders, and the leading causes of ladder falls and how to prevent them. It is aligned with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1053 (construction), 1910.23 (general industry) and the ANSI ASC A14 ladder standards. The course is organized into 6 modules and ends with a final exam (pass mark 80%). It is free, awareness-level training designed for anyone who uses ladders at work and needs a practical, working understanding of ladder safety.
