A beginner-friendly journey through the rules of Tajwid to help you recite the Quran beautifully and correctly under a qualified teacher. The course is organized into 10 modules, ending with a final exam (pass mark 80%). It is independent, free exam-preparation training — not an official or accredited review course.

Learning objectives

  • Explain why Tajwid matters and observe the etiquette (adab) of reciting the Quran.
  • Identify the articulation points (Makharij al-Huruf) and main characteristics (Sifaat) of the Arabic letters.
  • Apply the rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanwin: Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab and Ikhfa.
  • Apply the rules of Meem Sakinah and produce a correct Ghunnah (nasalization).
  • Recognize the natural Madd and the main secondary Madd types, plus Qalqalah.
  • Understand the basics of Laam and Raa rules, and of stopping (waqf) and starting (ibtida).
  • Build a realistic practice plan centered on learning directly from a qualified teacher (talaqqi).
