🛢️ Environmental Operational Control, Waste & Emergency Response
Free ISO 14001 clauses 8.1 & 8.2 training with a completion certificate.
Last updated: July 2026
This course covers the operational heart of ISO 14001 — how significant environmental aspects are actually controlled day to day, and how the organization prepares for and responds to environmental emergencies. It teaches operational control under clause 8.1 (documented procedures, engineering and administrative controls, and the life-cycle perspective for procurement and design), the waste hierarchy (prevent, reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, dispose) with practical segregation, labeling, storage and manifesting, secondary containment and spill-prevention basics, and environmental emergency preparedness and response under clause 8.2 (scenario planning, spill kits, notification chains and post-incident review). The course is organized into 6 modules, ending with a final exam (pass mark 80%). It is free awareness-level training designed for anyone who needs a practical, working understanding of the topic.
