Free exam-prep for SnowPro Core Certification (COF-C02) with a signed certificate. Learn the modules, pass the 10-question exam, EN/FR/AR, no account.

Last updated: June 2026

For data engineers, analysts, and admins new to Snowflake: master the full COF-C02 body of knowledge and walk into the exam able to reason about Snowflake's architecture, security, performance, loading, and pipelines with confidence. The course is organized into 11 modules, ending with a final exam (pass mark 70%). It is independent, free exam-preparation training — not an official or accredited review course.

What you'll learn

  • Snowflake AI Data Cloud Capabilities & Core Architecture
  • Storage, Virtual Warehouses & Cloud Services: The Three-Layer Architecture
  • Account Access & Security: Authentication & Network Policies
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) & Object Privileges
  • Performance Concepts: Warehouse Sizing, Scaling & Caching
  • Micro-Partitions, Clustering & Query Pruning
  • Data Loading: Stages, COPY INTO, File Formats & Snowpipe
  • Data Transformation: SQL, Semi-Structured Data & Functions
  • Data Protection: Time Travel, Fail-safe, Cloning & Replication
  • Secure Data Sharing & the Snowflake Marketplace
  • Data Pipelines: Streams, Tasks & Dynamic Tables

Learning objectives

  • Explain Snowflake's multi-cluster shared-data architecture, separating storage, compute (virtual warehouses), and cloud services.
  • Configure account access using roles, the RBAC hierarchy, authentication methods, and network/security policies.
  • Size and scale virtual warehouses, and apply caching, clustering, micro-partitions, and pruning to tune query performance.
  • Load and unload data with COPY INTO, stages, file formats, Snowpipe, and semi-structured data handling (VARIANT, JSON, Parquet).
  • Transform data using SQL, estimation functions, sampling, and supported data types and functions.
  • Protect data with Time Travel, Fail-safe, cloning (zero-copy), replication, and secure data sharing / the Marketplace.
  • Build continuous data pipelines using streams, tasks, dynamic tables, and external functions.
  • Interpret billing, resource monitors, and storage/compute cost concepts as tested across the COF-C02 domains.
