📦 CPIM Supply Chain & Inventory
Free, independent ASCM CPIM exam-preparation with a signed certificate. Learn the modules, pass the exam.
Last updated: June 2026
An independent, free exam-preparation course that walks through the publicly published ASCM/APICS CPIM Exam Content Manual under the 2024 job-task analysis (eight core domains delivered in a single 150-question exam). It builds exam-ready understanding of supply chain & operations strategy, demand management and forecasting, sales & operations planning (S&OP), master scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning (RCCP/CRP), inventory management (EOQ, safety stock, ABC), production activity control, lean & JIT, theory of constraints, quality management, distribution/DRP and supplier planning. It uses visual lessons, worked numeric examples, original self-check questions and a 45-question final exam. It is awareness/prep only — not the official ASCM learning system or the licensing exam — and claims no ASCM or APICS affiliation or endorsement. The course is organized into 22 modules, ending with a final exam (pass mark 80%). It is independent, free exam-preparation training — not an official or accredited review course.

Learning objectives
- Map the eight core CPIM domains and how they integrate from strategy down to the shop floor
- Build a demand plan using qualitative and quantitative forecasting and measure forecast error
- Run the sales & operations planning (S&OP) process to balance demand, supply and inventory
- Develop and maintain a master production schedule (MPS) with available-to-promise logic
- Explode a bill of material through MRP to produce planned and firm planned orders
- Test feasibility with rough-cut and detailed capacity planning (RCCP/CRP)
- Apply inventory models — EOQ, reorder point, safety stock and ABC classification
- Use lean, JIT and theory-of-constraints thinking to reduce waste and protect throughput
- Plan distribution networks and replenishment with DRP and supplier scheduling
- Pass a 45-question exam (80% to earn your certificate)
