A free, vendor-neutral course that builds the practical AI literacy every modern professional needs: how generative AI and large language models actually work, how to write effective prompts, how to verify outputs and avoid hallucinations, how to protect data and privacy, the ethics and bias issues, the emerging rules (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF), and how to fold AI into daily work responsibly. Visual lessons, original self-check questions and a 10-question final exam. Awareness training only — it does not certify any specific product or replace your employer's AI policy. It maps to Practical AI literacy & responsible use. The course is organized into 7 modules, ending with a final exam (pass mark 80%). It is free awareness-level training designed for anyone who needs a practical, working understanding of the topic.

• Distinguish realistic capabilities from common myths and understand why models hallucinate
• Write clear, structured prompts using role, context, task, format and examples
• Critically verify AI output for accuracy, bias and fabricated sources before relying on it
• Protect confidential data, personal information and intellectual property when using AI tools
• Apply core ethics, fairness and accountability principles, and recognise key rules such as the EU AI Act and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
• Integrate AI responsibly into everyday professional workflows while keeping a human in the loop
• Pass a 10-question final exam (80% to pass) covering all areas of practical AI literacy
