Career pack: what is inside

A CV template, a cover-letter template, an interview-prep guide with practice questions for HSE, quality and IT roles, and a guide to showing AMAADOR Academy certificates. It helps you present what you can do. It does not promise a job.

1 · CV template (one page)

[FULL NAME] · [City, country] · [phone] · [email] · [LinkedIn URL]

PROFILE (2 lines): [Role you want] with [x] years in [field]. Known for [one strength with a result].

KEY SKILLS: [skill 1] · [skill 2] · [skill 3] · [software] · Languages: [Arabic native, French C1, English B2 (self-assessed)]

EXPERIENCE: [Job title], [Company], [City] · [MM/YYYY]–[MM/YYYY]

  • [Action verb] + [what] + [result with a number]: e.g. 'Ran weekly toolbox talks for 40 workers; reported near misses rose from 2 to 11 a month.'
  • [Second achievement]

EDUCATION: [Diploma], [School], [Year]

CERTIFICATES: [Course name], AMAADOR Academy, [Month YEAR] · ID [certificate ID] · verify: amaadoracademy.com/c/[ID]

Rules: one page; newest first; numbers over adjectives; same date format everywhere; no photo unless the employer asks; save as PDF named FirstName-LastName-CV.pdf.

2 · Cover letter (5 short paragraphs)

1. The job and where you saw it.

2. Why this company (one real fact about them).

3. One story that proves you can do the job: situation, action, result.

4. What you would do in your first 90 days, in one sentence.

5. Thank them and ask for an interview.

3 · Interview-prep guide

Before: read the job ad twice and underline every skill; for each, prepare one STAR story (Situation, Task, Action, Result) of 60–90 seconds.

Prepare 3 questions for them: 'What does success look like after 6 months?', 'What is the biggest challenge for this team?', 'How is safety/quality measured here?'

On the day: arrive 10 minutes early (online: test the camera and sound 15 minutes before); bring the CV and certificate IDs.

After: send a short thank-you within 24 hours.

4 · Practice questions by job family

General: Tell me about yourself (90 seconds, past → present → why this job). Describe a mistake and what you changed.

HSE: How do you get workers to report near misses? Walk me through a risk assessment for work at height. What would you do if a supervisor ignores a permit?

Quality: Explain a root-cause analysis you led. How do you handle a customer complaint? What is the difference between correction and corrective action?

IT: How do you troubleshoot a user who cannot connect? Explain a project where you automated a task. How do you keep credentials safe?

5 · Showing Academy certificates

On the CV: list the course name, 'AMAADOR Academy', month and year, and the certificate ID with its /c/ verification link.

On LinkedIn: Licenses & certifications → Issuing organisation 'AMAADOR Academy' → paste the ID and the verification URL.

Say what it is: an AMAADOR Academy course certificate. Do not describe it as a state diploma or an accredited qualification.
