Surface Preparation, Painting & Coating
Controlled training for surface cleanliness, masking, carrier security, approved powder identity, electrostatic application, inspection, cleaning, waste, and abnormal response. PC-533 is provisional and retains a visible local-validation warning; all selectors are reference-only and local instructions prevail.

Learning objectives
- Verify authorized scope, route, equipment references, part identity, carrier security, and local-validation status before work.
- Apply the current local SDS and material-change boundary without inventing chemical classification, compatibility, exposure, or disposal facts.
- Recognize electrostatic, coating-dust, ignition, ventilation, grounding, booth, respiratory, and compressed-air boundaries.
- Carry out authorized hanging, surface, masking, replenishment, normal application, and first-off verification decisions.
- Inspect coverage, finish, thickness when locally required, traceability, and NOK status only against current controlled criteria.
- Contain defects and obtain documented retouch authorization and reinspection before any repair or release.
- Use approved cleaning, spill, and waste routes while prohibiting compressed-air dispersal and unapproved or non-rated vacuuming.
- Stop, contain, and escalate conveyor, booth, ventilation, grounding, safeguard, fire, spill, and immediate-threat conditions.
